It’s probably the understatement of the century to say that the past year or so has been incredibly weird, difficult, and frustrating -- on many levels. With summer on the horizon, we’re dedicated to making sure our Emagination Tech Camps provide a safe and fun environment for campers to join us so they can feel some semblance of normalcy. Even if it’s only for a few days.
There’s no doubt that in a world that’s become exponentially more digital over the past 12 months, tech and computer skills are in demand now more than ever. And with the direction of our current society, it will likely only be increasing as we move toward the future. So with that in mind, it may be a good idea to expose kids of all ages to STEM subjects if they’ve shown an interest in it before.
Each year, we welcome tech campers from ages 8-17 to one of our camps, and we’d be honored to have you join us this summer at one of our five locations. Here’s some more information on what we’ve got going on this summer.
Connecticut
We’re happy to once again be working with Fairfield University to offer both a general tech camp option and a coding camp. Our general tech camp dates range from the end of June to the beginning of August, while there’s only one coding camp available at this location, starting on July 25th and ending on August 6th.

Georgia
The beautiful Mercer University will be hosting our camps in Georgia this summer. While the dates of the camps are currently to be determined, they will definitely be taking place. There will be four different sessions for the general tech camp (two one-week sessions and two two-week sessions) as well as one two-week coding camp toward the end of the summer.

Illinois
Lake Forest Academy will be hosting our camp this summer. The campus sits on 160 park-like acres in suburban Lake Forest, Lake Forest Academy provides an idyllic location for summer camp. Click for more details.
Our Emagination Tech Camps serve as our core program, which allows campers to choose four different tech courses if they’re attending a two-week session, or two different courses if they’re attending a one-week session. If you have a teen that’s interested in learning to code, we have a special camp for that where campers will learn to code in Java while also building various applications.
Massachusetts
Just because Bentley University has a reputation for being a top business school doesn’t mean it can’t be the site of a great STEM experience! Dates haven’t yet been solidified, but the general details are the same as above -- there will be four different sessions for our core program, as well as one two-week session for coding camp toward the end of summer.

Pennsylvania
If you live in Pennsylvania or nearby and that makes sense from the standpoint of location for your tech summer camp experience, consider joining us at Rosemont College this year. Once again, 2021 dates haven’t been finalized, but they will be soon. As with all the other camp locations, there are choices for day camps and overnight camps, depending on what your family is looking for and feeling comfortable with.
There’s also an opportunity to extend the day for day campers slightly. Get all the information you need right here.
We hope to see you on campus at one of our five locations this summer! It’s the perfect way to finally get out of the house and do something fun while remaining safe at the same time.
